Mapping Canada's Sustainable PropTech Landscape 2022

The property industry in Canada has been at the forefront of sustainable practices, while the demand for sustainable technology in the Canadian property industry has fueled growth in the country’s property technology sector. In order to help promote what is being done in Canada, both by start-ups and property companies, Sustainable PropTech, a think tank of industry leaders in real estate and technology, has put together a comprehensive report about sustainable Canadian PropTech.

The report includes interviews with IBI Group’s Global Director, Buildings, Mansoor Kazerouni, and Global Director, Innovation, Deepak Darda, along with a list of Canadian sustainable PropTech companies, a market cap of Canada’s PropTech ecosystem, and an analysis of current trends.

On August 3, the Smart City Sandbox hosted the launch of the report, with members of the architecture, construction, real estate, technology and legal industries in attendance. The report highlights the impact technology is having on the real estate industry by making it environmentally sustainable and future ready.
